This year, we are excited to announce a special fellowship! It will support one of our young colleagues in spending one week at the Breast Imaging Department at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. The fellowship amounts to €3,500 and will cover the university fee of €110 per day, as well as most of the travel and accommodation expenses. At the Breast Imaging Center within the Breast Cancer Treatment Unit in Innsbruck, you will have the opportunity to observe all types of imaging procedures — breast ultrasound, mammography, and MRI, core needle biopsy under ultrasound guidance, and stereotactic biopsy. You will also be able to attend the multidisciplinary tumor board and see how different specialties collaborate in making patient‑centered decisions. This experience will give you invaluable knowledge and a modern approach to treating your own patients.
